At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting on 25th July, the Trustees awarded 38 grants totalling £24,950. They included:
- £1,000 to YMCA South Devon for the ‘Fit for Life’ young people’s project
- £500 to Bumblebee Conservation Trust for its work preserving habitats and increasing awareness
- £500 to Families for Children towards the Adoption Support Centre of Excellence
- £500 to Spinal Muscular Atrophy Support UK for its work providing support to families in the South West
- £750 to Oesophageal Patients Association towards supporting cancer patients in Devon and Cornwall
- £750 to Dogs Trust towards the running costs of Dogs School Devon
- £1,000 to RNIB towards the Talking Book Service in Devon and Cornwall
- £1,000 to Carn Brea Leisure Centre Trust towards the swimming pools refurbishment
- £1,000 to Two Moors Festival towards the ‘Building resilience: expanding horizons’ project
- £1,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support towards the Macmillan Grants Programme in Exeter
- £1,000 to Almshouse Association towards improvements to almshouses in Cornwall
- £1,000 to Exeter Personal Support Unit towards the costs of expanding the service
- £1,000 to React towards the provision of specialist equipment for life-limited children in Devon & Cornwall
