At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting in June, the Trustees awarded 42 grants totalling £36,230. They included:
- £250 to Friends of Gulliford Burial Ground towards a noticeboard/sign
- £1,000 to Open Arms East Devon towards a Christmas memories project and general costs
- £500 to Newtown Community Pre-school towards sun shade sails for the garden
- £500 to Leukaemia Care Taunton Support Group towards general costs
- £500 to Otter Valley Association towards a heritage project
- £1,000 to Combat Stress towards providing mental health support to veterans in Devon & Cornwall
- £500 to Indian Queens Victory Hall towards blackout blinds
- £1,000 to Tall Ships Youth Trust towards bursaries for young disadvantaged people from the South West
- £1,000 to Limbless Association towards a Support and Connect Hub for amputees living in Exeter
- £2,000 to Rowcroft Hospice towards end of life education and training in Torbay and South Devon
- £1,000 to Barnstaple & South Molton Memory Cafes towards core costs and extra activities
- £1,000 to Landworks towards specialist support surgeries for trainees
- £500 to Cygnet Theatre towards a new projector
- £500 to Friends of Seaton Library towards new chromebook laptops
